An injury may cause your dog pain, fear and confusion. These things can make even a normally gentle dog unpredictable.
Using a lubricated rectal thermometer, insert 1–2 inches. Normal temperature listed in the guide is 100°F–102.5°F.
Gums should be pink. White, purple, gray or blue gums are abnormal according to the supplied field guide.
